Eligibility
JacHacks Spring is open to all college and university students. participants must be enrolled at an accredited institution at the time of the event. Teams of 1-4 members are allowed. All team members must be registered on Devpost individually.
Project and Submission Requirements
All projects must be built during the hackathon window (May 15-19, 2026). Projects must use Jac as the primary development language. Submissions must include a public GitHub repo, a demo video (3 min max), and a written project description on Devpost. work started before the hackathon is not eligible. open source libraries and APIs are allowed.

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection
Projects will be evaluated on technical execution, creative use of Jac and agentic AI concepts, and overall impact or novelty of the idea. Winners will be selected by a panel of judges from industry and academia. Decisions are final.
